Vintage Work Table

With a white milk glass surface and hardwood base, this Vintage Brussels Chocolatiers Confectionary Work Table is lovely. Contrasting white against wood is a style I am fond of in my own home. The dark wood tone adds warmth, while the white keeps the piece looking clean and crisp.

Cheap and Pretty

After seeing this rug on a Design Sponge before & after, I had to hunt it down. The rug is from Ikea and I am impressed! Ikea doesn't pop to mind as a place to go for gorgeous textiles but this one made me think twice.

It's so hard to find the right art to hang on your walls - it's either too hotelish, too whimsical, too dark, too something! This chicken, pig and sad bear can call my place home anytime they like. I'm still forming an opinion on the garden gnom, he's a little creepy but I just can't look away. Save that one for the guest room.
