SEE IT. WANT IT. BLOG IT.

My first sentence was, "I want one of those." Just ask my Mother. So really, this blog was inevitable.

Putting the Fun into Functional

These retro styled stoves by Big Chill offer a bold variety of colors. You can't find a more perfect pedestal for your Le Creuset cookware. Kitchens can be more than varying shades of grey with granite countertops. A pop of color is just what some spaces need to feel warm and lived in. Jadite Green, Beach Blue and Buttercup Yellow are my top picks.

Vintage Work Table

With a white milk glass surface and hardwood base, this Vintage Brussels Chocolatiers Confectionary Work Table is lovely. Contrasting white against wood is a style I am fond of in my own home. The dark wood tone adds warmth, while the white keeps the piece looking clean and crisp.

The Perfect Tote

Finding the right travel bag is like striking gold. I've always had a thing for vintage leather luggage but appreciate the modern addition of organization-friendly interior pockets. We've all had bags that seem to delight in hiding important items from us (cell phones, car keys, airplane tickets) just when we need them most. This vintage-inspired tote from Fossil is a fusion of old and new, a gorgeous leather exterior lined with zip and slip pockets.

Cognac Leather Boots

Booties and Shooties are the "it" shoe of the moment. And yes, that's the correct term for them. Nevertheless, these Pembrook booties by Steve Madden are a little bit country, a little bit rock & roll and all the way want-worthy. Personally, I only like to invest in items that will outlive the trends and these are classic.

Signature Scent

With hints of Waterlily, Dewberry, Rose and Ylang ylang, Paper Flower by Love and Toast hits just the right note. The concept of having a signature scent eluded me before finding this lovely warm floral. I've put away my Kenzo, Issey Miyake and Fresh, instead I keep a large bottle of Paper Flower on my dresser and a tiny one in my purse.

Gold Flatware

I've loved yellow gold for as long as I can remember and now that it's on trend, it is popping up in the most curious of places. This gold flatware from West Elm is timeless and modern all at once. The only thing left to be desired is the silver blade of the knife - is it too much to ask for this set to be all gold, all the time? I'll keep my eyes peeled for the real deal but for now this flatware is certainly want-worthy!
